Manifesting A Vegan Future by NEO 10Y
Hey, I am NEO 10Y and my purpose is to help manifest a protopian dimension of peace on planet Earth through the expansion of love energy. Alongside my work as an artist and in media, the following is a presentation and contextual overview of my work toward a vegan future.
I have been vegan since 2017. My journey as a public figure advocating for veganism has been complex and nuanced, including experiencing anti-vegan media sensationalism, as well as receiving death threats and cyber bullying due to my perspectives on love and peace.
In addition to numerous BBC episodes and appearances, I am featured in a documentary for Channel 4 called Higher Ground, where I explore psychedelics while discussing the importance of a vegan future. I have also discussed veganism with Jimmy Carr on Paramount+ Comedy Central.
My collaborations include working with PETA on a think piece about leather, contributing to a PRIDE special examining speciesism as the root of all oppression, and participating in a peaceful stunt challenging the concept of “humane” animal slaughter.
I was featured in the Future Normal campaign from The Vegan Society, as well as projects for the BBC and National Geographic. I have also hosted National Animal Rights Day (NARD) in the UK and performed at Vegan Camp Out, as well as other vegan festivals and fundraisers.
My music and stage shows are designed to inspire change. Works such as Shortcut To World Peace, CHOOSE LOVE, ONENESS (WHO WE ARE), Vapid Prophecy and Stan Yourself all reflect this intention. Beyond performance, I collaborate with educational outreach groups, speak at universities, and engage with “progressive” human rights institutions, communities, and leading philanthropic organisations. My aim is to encourage a fully anti-oppression stance that aligns humanitarian work with philosophies of non-violence, including veganism.
These communities are already progressive, and many are spaces I am part of. They often hold a strong understanding of consent and love in relation to human beings. My work seeks to extend that same awareness, drawing on shared wisdom and experience, to include all sentient beings affected by the violence of animal agriculture.
Below, you will find slides from a presentation I have been sharing with a growing number of institutions. This work explores love as the “Shortcut To World Peace,” examines speciesism as a root of oppression, and presents key statistics, insights into animal sentience, responses to common fallacies, and additional resources.
With love and peace, NEO 10Y
